Day 21: Deerwalk Earthquake Work on the Ground

On Wednesday 27 May, DWSWN volunteers Mohan Singh Bomrel, Pankaj KC and Nishan Makaju Shrestha, led by Surendra Nath Adhikari, the Campus Chief of DWIT, headed to Chauthe VDC in Nuwakot to distribute primary relief as cash: Rs 3,000 per household for 32 houses, and Rs 2,000 per household for 97 houses, across the three areas of Manchegaun, Dhunganagaun and Sunargaun. This was a continuation of the DWSWN Nuwakot relief programme carried out on 10 May and reported on day 14.
