A youth empowerment talk programme at Dhading

On 14th and 15th December 2016, Deerwalk Foundation organized a talk program by Surendra Shakya in Youth Empowerment titled "Planting Seeds for Social Transformation" in coordination with Lions & Leo Club of Peace Khanikhola at Dhading.

Mr. Shakya, a social activist and president at EduVision aims to transform Nepali communities through social activism in education, environment and entrepreneurship and is involved in youth empowerment workshops. A total of 5 sessions was conducted in which 276 students from Mahankaleshwori Higher Secondary School, Machchhindra Higher Secondary School and Machchhindra Campus participated. Due to time constraint the sessions at two other schools could not be carried out.
